Many wound care professionals are just now learning about the V1STA™ Versatile 1 Portable. The V1STA™ (Versatile 1 System Transportable and Ambulatory) is NPWT therapy using a small lightweight pump to power Chariker-Jeter® technology. CMS has approved BlueSky Medical’s portable V1STA™ Wound Vacuum System for Medicare Part B reimbursement.

At only 4.3 lbs, the Versatile 1™ Portable is light enough to be picked up and carried anywhere with you. The optional carrying case offers even more convenience. Safety features include the Aqualert™ alarm to detect overflow; low vacuum alarm to detect dressing leaks; low battery alarm to prevent power interruptions; and single lumen sensing technology to help protect against high vacuum conditions.

Consistent with BlueSky Medical’s product line, the V1STA™ uses lower, safer, and less painful vacuum levels. It also features simpler dressing changes that are easy to teach. Its antimicrobial gauze also allows for fewer dressing changes. Our pump can be disconnected for longer periods of time (up to 4 hours), giving patients freedom and mobility. We carry a variety of drains – one for every type of wound, including tunnels.
